Faith Youth Ministries
Faith Youth Ministries is our 6th-12th Grade student ministry. We believe that students should engage with God on a regular basis through three things: Worship, Faith Groups, and Service. By investing time in these areas, students will learn how to live out the mission of our church: inviting people to Christ-centered service.
Egan Youth Camp
June 10 - 14 | 6th - Graduates (Fall 2024) | Camp Egan | $231 ($251 after April 15)
Students ages 6th through Graduates (Fall of 2024) will be traveling to Camp Egan near Tahlequah for Egan Youth Camp. Camps are organized by the grade level the campers will be entering at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year. CLICK HERE for more info.
Weekly Gatherings
Sunday Mornings | 10:00-10:55am | Youth Wing
6th and 7th Grade students meet together in the Youth Room and it’s not your normal Sunday School. We start with by breaking into “teams” to play a screen game and win some candy, then we move into an interactive lesson on the Old Testament. We have fun and learn some cool stuff about the Old Testament.
8th Grade students meet together in the Green Room. They are going through the Confirmation Curriculum. It doesn’t matter if you’re going through Confirmation or not, if you’re in the 8th Grade come have fun learning the basics of the Christian faith.
9th-12th Graders all meet together in the Navy Room. They are learning some incredible things about being leaders. Leadership Lessons are combined with fun and challenging activities create a fun atmosphere.
Wednesday Nights | 6:30-8:00pm | Youth Wing
We begin with some awesome student led worship, followed by a message given by Mark, then we break into small groups for meaningful discussion.
Small Groups are divided by gender and either Middle School or High School. Each group is led by two very capable and caring adults. Small Groups are a space where students can share life together, join in intentional prayer for one another, dig deeper into the gospel of Jesus and encourage each other to live it out. Small groups are where students really get connected to each other, the Youth Ministry and to Faith UMC.
