Disciple Bible Studies

The purpose of Disciple Bible Studies is to develop strong Christian leaders through in-depth study of Scripture. Thirty to forty-five minutes of daily study, six days a week, is required. Each course lasts 30-34 weeks. Pre-registration is required so that study materials may be ordered.

Disciple I: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study
 Thursdays, beginning September 6
6:30-8:30pm 
This entry into the Disciple studies is designed for youth and adults. Its purpose is to develop strong Christian leaders through regular in-depth study of Scripture.
 
Disciple III: Remember Who You Are
Sundays, beginning September 9
6:00-8:00pm
This course focuses on the themes of remembrance, repentance, renewed vision, and community through readings in The Prophets and The Letters of Paul.  
 
Christian Believer
Tuesdays, August-March 
Designed for believers who are yearning to understand and live by the Christian faith they profess, this class asks the question “What does it mean to be a Christian?”

 -- Disciple II: Into the Word, Into the World
 to be offered Fall 2013-Spring 2014
This course builds on Biblical knowledge gained through Disciple I by concentrating on Genesis, Exodus, Luke, and Acts.
 
 -- Disciple IV: Under the Tree of Life
to be offered Fall 2013-Spring 2014
This course focuses on the Old Testament Writings, The Gospel of John, and Revelation. 
 
  -- Jesus in the Gospels
offered on occasion
This course focuses on the portraits of Jesus found in the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
