Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by sharing God's love one person at a time.

Community Groups

1st Thursday of each month, 11:30am -- Great Hall
Primetimers is a group of active seniors who enjoy dinners, road trips, and fellowship. They meet each month for a potluck lunch. Sometimes the entrée is provided. Sometimes the meals are catered. Some months are total potluck! If you are age 55+, join us for lots of fun and fellowship! For more information please contact
Rev. Erma Pregler.

Not Yet Retired Singles
All singles are invited to join this group for lunch at noon on Sundays. The group chooses a different restaurant each week. Contact Linda Orr (918-497-1230) for information.

Dinner for Eight
Couples and singles are placed in groups of eight that meet once a month for four months for an evening meal. Often the meals are potluck, but many groups also enjoy dining out at a favorite restaurant. Dinner for Eight is a wonderful way to become acquainted with the people of Faith. Groups form in early fall and early spring. Watch the newsletter for announcements.

Knitting Groups
     Sundays, 6:00pm -- Room 503
     Mondays, 6:30pm -- Room 503
     Tuesdays, 10:00am -- Room 503
Knit or crochet prayer shawls for members of our Faith community who need comfort and prayers as they face physical or spiritual crisis in their lives. We also encourage yarn crafters who cannot attend our sessions to make shawls as their schedules allow. We have a selection of yarns and patterns available, but our members may choose to use their own patterns and yarns. Instruction is also available for anyone who would like to learn to knit or crochet. In October the prayer shawl group also knits hats and scarves that are donated to a local homeless shelter. If you would like further information please contact
Laura Eldridge.

United Methodist Men
UMM meet the third Saturday of every month for breakfast at 8:00am in the Great Hall. The UMM is open to men of all ages. The group's primary outreach has been to Exodus House (a ministry serving men and women recently released from prison by providing affordable housing) and the United Methodist Boys' Ranch.

United Methodist Women
Small groups of women meet monthly to share in fellowship and discipleship. New members are always welcome. We are working to start a new group this Fall.
Heritage Circle meets the second Thursday of the month at 1pm in the Adult Wing at Faith.
New Beginnings Circle meets the third Monday of the month at 7pm in member homes.
Sew Faithful regularly makes baby quilts. Contact the church office for mor
