Making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world by sharing God's love one person at a time.

Care Ministries

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus' command to care for those who are hurting. Stephen Ministers are lay people who have received at least 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctively Christian care with strict confidentiality. This ministry helps meet the needs of individuals who are: hospitalized, terminally ill, bereaved, in a job crisis, homebound, disabled, or in a spiritual crisis. Consider allowing a Stephen Minister to walk with you on your journey to wholeness. For more information, check out our
Stephen Ministry page or contact Rev. Erma Pregler.

Grief Support Group
Our Grief Support Group  meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm in the adult wing (room 503). The group is led by Rose Ann Marshall, a trained Stephen Minister, who understands first-hand about grief recovery. Newcomers and guests from the community are  welcome to attend. Regardless of how long ago or how recent the loss of a loved one, being in a grief support group is important  to moving forward in  life. This group is founded upon confidentiality, integrity and consistency. Contact
Rev. Erma Pregler for more information.

Special Angels
Special Angels are adults and youth who will attend Sunday school with children or youth who need additional help. The most common types of learning disorders that we will see are Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome. Any student who needs help in the classroom can have a special angel even those without significant learning disabilities. The Children, Extreme Team, and Youth Ministers will evaluate every student who might benefit from a special angel and who is referred to them from the teachers or parents. For more information see our
Special Angels page or contact Jean Stout.
